Originally started as an online math help center, THEBRAINWAVE has grown into a full-service tutoring and support center. We now offer help in almost any subject or situation for people of all ages—whenever and wherever they need it. As we continue to expand our services, we keep creating new opportunities for growth and improvement.

Meet Our Founder
Eric M. Shanahan
Meet Eric, a passionate educator and one of the top-rated tutors in the Greater Philadelphia area. He graduated summa cum laude from West Chester University, where he studied Marketing, Finance, and Accounting, and consistently ranked in the top 10% of his classes.
While in college, Eric worked as the lead tutor for Accounting 101, Pre-Calculus, and Calculus, helping fellow students build confidence and succeed. Combining his love for business and education, he went on to create the BRAINWAVE—an organization dedicated to helping others learn, grow/support, and reach their goals.
